Attention Parents and Leaders of Virginia NYI Students ❗️
We wanted to share an update on Nazarene Youth Conference 2023 that will be held in Tampa, FL, July 4-11. This is a very exciting event and we are hoping that you will consider sending your students who have completed 8th – 12th grades to this life-changing and spiritually foundational event.
The cost for the trip is $1800 for all of those who register before October 15, 2022. Late registrations, through January 10 will be at a cost of $2000. We will need a $500 deposit by October 15 for all those who will be attending. This covers the registration fee for the conference which we will need to pay at that time. We have prepared the following payment schedule for you to use in your planning:
October 15 - $500 registration fee
December 1 - $250
January 15 - $250
March 1 - $250
April 15 - $250
June 15 - $300 (final payment)
For those who are late registrants, you will be behind schedule according to the payment plan. We recommend paying as close to $1000 by January 15. For those who cannot do that, please contact Mark Brown to discuss an alternative payment plan. There will be a minimum of $750 due by January 15 for late registrants.
Payments can be made in two ways. First, you can send a check payable to VA NYI to Christy Marshall at 28 Fleetwood Dr, Palmyra, VA 22963.
The second way you can pay is through PayPal. The VA NYI has set up a PayPal account with a link so that participants of NYC2023 can pay with a credit card. There will be a 3% fee for using PayPal. If you pay the entire amount, the fee will be around $55 total. You can pay some with check and some with PayPal. We will have choices of $250 payment (would be $258.00) a $300 payment (would be $310) and a $500 payment (would be $515). We apologize, but we must charge a fee for this convenience as we cannot absorb that cost for 100+ possible attendees.

Hosted by the Church of the Nazarene, NYC is a powerful youth event that has been held in different locations over the past six decades. NYC takes place every four years and provides an opportunity for high school students from the USA and Canada to be united in a time of worship, teaching, and community service.
In 2023, we are excited to meet again, this time in Tampa Bay, FL. This four day youth conference will be held on July 5-9, 2023. Check back often for more details about the event.
